Long Terne Steel Sheet

Most generally specified this is the Standard Commercial Quality Hot Dipped Long Terne Sheet and meets its ASTM specifications in every respect. Produced for us in coil form by the modern method of passing the uncoiled steel sheets through its bath of molten terne metal (Lead and Tin). It is rust resistant, soft and ductile. The terne coating is firmly bonded to its base metal and it solders easily. It is suitable for stamping, drawing and forming, and its slit coils are ideal for greater economy. When flat sheets are to be specified, save by ordering to single blank size or to multiple lengths.
