Order Acknowledgement and Shipping Notice Service Program

Precision Steel Warehouse is a supplier focused on customer service and support. We offer custom solutions using today’s technology.

Early in 2003, PSW launched our new Order Acknowledgement service program. As orders are entered into our system, each customer will automatically receive a computer-generated e-mail. This e-mail can be sent to a single or multiple individuals within the company. It will contain order status on every order scheduled to ship within the next thirty days. In addition to that, we also provide an actual order acknowledgement, one time only, on each line item ordered the previous day. The information provided is the complete detail of the order with a specific In House Delivery Date. Please note that when multiple line items are placed customers receive a single e-mail containing a printable acknowledgement per line item. Perfect for your ISO program!

Also now available is our Shipping Notice via e-mail. The information provided is the bill of lading documentation. When your order departs our dock, a computer generated e-mail will be sent to any one or multiple e-mail addresses within the customers organization. The information provided includes, total weight shipped, number of coils, your PO number or part number, and a description of the material. All this information will be at your fingertips before the coils hit your receiving dock.
